Structure of COSWRIM

The COSWRIM’s framework comprises the following elements:
  1. Board of Trustees.
  2. National Steering Committee.
  3. State Committees, with State Coordinators.

States Committee

Establishment of State Committees:
  1. The COSWRIM (name of the organization) will establish State Committees in all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) of Nigeria.
  2. Each State Committee will comprise a maximum of four (4) members selected from State sex worker-led organizations.
  3. Elections within these State Committees will adhere toguidelines provided by the National Steering Committee (NSC).
  4. NSC will internally appoint individuals for key roles, including a State Coordinator, CoCoordinator, Secretary, and Focal Point for communications Relations.
  5. Positions within State Committees will undergo a rotation process among different organizations, and the term of office for all positions will be two years.
  6. Each state, through its State Committee, will establish and maintain a secure and confidential communication and coordination platform designed to serve all sex workers, encompassing their diverse backgrounds and needs.
