Establishing Guidelines and Amendments

  1. The NSC, at its discretion, may formulate rules, regulations, policies, or guidelines for matters not addressed in this Constitution, as long as they align with this Constitution.
  2. These rules, regulations, policies, or guidelines will be presented to the board of trustees for examination and approval.
  3. The NSC retains the authority to modify or suspend rules, regulations, policies, or guidelines that conflict with this Constitution.

Amendment

Any changes to this Constitution, along with any associated rules, regulations, or by-laws, must receive approval from a simple majority of voting delegates at board meetings of COSWRIM.

Dissolution

COSWRIM’s dissolution can only occur in compliance with the regulations specified in Part C, Section 691 of the Companies and Allied Matters Act CAP 59, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 1990, and in accordance with the Federal Republic of Nigeria’s constitution.

Ratification

These Rules and Regulations, also referred to as the COSWRIM CONSTITUTION, wereformally reviewed and approved by the Board of Trustees on 5th June in the year 2023.
